Haunted Half Caring Hands Team (Official Race Charity):

It might be scary, It might be a fright
But being apart of our Haunted Half Caring Hands Team is sure to be a delight!  

Come join our team and be a helping hand to our official race charity team: Caring Hands.  This charity is one of the many funds managed by The Foundation of the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  Its mission is to provide monetary support to patients in financial need.  Go to www.thecrmcfoundation.org to learn more about how this organization touches the lives of so many people in the Upper Cumberland area.  You can run/walk on our team and raise money for Caring Hands or help raise its awareness to others.  Each team member will receive a Caring Hands Team Shirt to wear on race day, team picture, special refunds for fundraisers and Exclusive Caring Hands Team Clinic at Foothills Running Co. in Cookeville, TN with store owner and winner of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon, Brian Shelton (TBA). 

Spooktacular Charity - Level 1:

Level l gives your charity the opportunity to fundraise on the registration website which will help make raising money even easier.  Your charity logo and website link will be posted on the race website.  You will also have the opportunity to host water and cheer stations along the race route and a booth at the Expo as well as, an allowance of charity brochures in the race goodie bags. Additionally, a Spotlight Picture in the Herald Citizen Newspaper, a Charity Chat with Philip Gibbons on The Country Giant 94.7 radio station, and a PA announcement at the Finish Line. As a special thank you, a complimentary Charity Team picture will be emailed to the Team Captain. Be sure to register by August 1, 2012 to receive all benefits.

Spooktacular Charity - Level 2:

Level 2 of charity participation is geared toward those charities interested in raising awareness to their cause.  Team Members will have the opportunity to promote their charity on the race website, at the Expo, water and cheer stations, in the race goodie bags and a PA announcement during the Finish Line events. A complimentary Charity Team picture will be emailed to the Team Captain.

Charity Volunteer Level:

Your charity group can become a part of this fun race day by volunteering much needed assistance with anything from packet pick-up day to passing out water to race participants.  This is a great way to get involved as a team to help promote health and community and touch lives in our Cookeville area.

Charity Spirit Level:

This level of charity allows for lots of fun, creative thinking and much needed cheering!  Charities will be assigned a section of the race route to decorate and encourage the participants during the race.  Costumes, balloons, signs, cow bells, whistles…..can be used to cheer the runners to the finish line.  Feel free to advertise your team’s charity with signs, logos and colors.  Remember the best cheer section will be awarded!
